Indore, MP: A disturbing video from Phoenix Mall, Kanadia, is going viral on social media showing a minor being brutally assaulted during a live performance by rapper ‘Seedhe Maut’ late Saturday night. The minor, a 17-year-old student, was reportedly attacked after opposing the harassment of his girlfriend.
Incident Details
According to reports, the minor attended the concert with his girlfriend, where alcohol was openly served to attendees, including minors. During the show, some intoxicated youths attempted to harass the minor’s female companion. When the minor intervened, several individuals attacked him simultaneously, surrounding and beating him mercilessly. One attacker even climbed on his chest, delivering repeated kicks and punches, while his clothes were torn in the scuffle.
Eyewitnesses and Security Response
Bystanders recorded the assault on their phones and shared it on social media, while security personnel eventually intervened to separate the parties. After the brawl, the minor and his companion left the venue.
Police Action
The victim is a 12th-grade student at a private school. Despite the severity of the incident, no formal complaint had been lodged by Sunday evening. Senior police officials stated that they have taken cognizance of the viral footage and are now verifying its authenticity and identifying the assailants. If a complaint is filed, authorities confirmed that charges could be registered under serious sections of law.
This incident raises serious concerns about alcohol service at events with minors, the safety of young attendees, and the accountability of event organizers.
