Noida Hospital Staff Booked After Pregnant Woman and Unborn Child Die Due to Alleged Medical Negligence

Noida, UP: A tragic incident has emerged from Bharat Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector-112, Noida, where alleged medical negligence led to the death of a pregnant woman, Shabana, and her unborn child. Following a complaint from the family and a court directive, a case has now been registered against the hospital staff, and police have launched a detailed investigation.

Incident Details

Shabana, wife of Shahrukh from Sorkha village, was admitted to the hospital on October 9 due to labor pain. The family had informed the hospital about Shabana’s high blood pressure and provided prescribed medications. Subsequently, the hospital staff requested additional medicines.

Approximately 15–20 minutes later, Shahrukh returned to find his wife bleeding from the mouth, while the hospital staff appeared confused and panicked. The family’s complaints led to police intervention. Shabana was referred to Fortis Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Ultrasound examinations confirmed that the baby had already passed away.

Family Allegations and Police Action

The family accused the hospital staff of administering the wrong medication, holding the hospital management responsible for the deaths. Thana Incharge Krishna Gopal Sharma confirmed that, following a court order, a case has been registered against the hospital authorities. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine accountability and ensure action against those responsible.
